Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,498,853 entitled, "Water with Switchable Ionic Strength," on November 15, 2022 to R. Stephen Brown Philip Jessop, Sean Mercer and Tobias Robert. The patent relates to a method and system for reversibly converting water between an initial ionic strength and an increased ionic strength, using a switchable additive.
