Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,492,366 entitled, "Platinum Compounds for Binding Guanine Quadruplexes," on November 8, 2022 to Jean-Louis Mergny, Caitlin Miron, and Anne Petitjean. The patent relates to compounds described and characterized that bind guanine quadruplexes of DNA or RNA. Binding data and inhibition of growth data of five cancer cell lines are presented.
