Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,456,165 entitled, "Spatio-Temporal Localization for Mass Spectrometry Sample Analysis," on September 27, 2022 to Mark Asselin, Gabor Fichtinger, Martin Kaufman, and Tamas Ungi. The patent relates to a method for spatially localizing mass-spectrometry analysis of an analyte derived from an energy event, where an electrical device is used to deliver an energy event to a substrate, and the analyte produced is analyzed using mass spectrometry.
