Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,125,638 "Apparatus and Method for Measuring Force and Power During Unsteady Fluid Motions", on September 21, 2021, to David Rival, Scott Fitzpatrick and Louis Burelle. According to the patent (attached) this invention relates to an apparatus and methods for measuring force exerted by an object moving in a fluid or force of a moving fluid on a stationary object.
