Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 10,874,634 "Compounds and Methods for Inhibiting CYP26 Enzymes", on December 29, 2020, to Donald Andrew Cameron, Martin Petkovich, Toni Kristian Rantanen, Victor Snieckus, Johnathan Board, Suneel Singh, and Ashishkumar Jayantilal Maheta. According to the patent (attached) this invention relates to inhibitors of retinoic acid inductible P450 (CYP26) enzymes and are useful for treating diseases that are responsive to retinoids.
