Congratulations on joining Canada's best Commerce program. Fall Orientation is to help you with a smooth transition and set you up for success. Throughout the week, you'll have the opportunity to meet your peers, connect with upper-years, and meet some faculty and staff. We're here to answer any questions you may have about the Commerce program, academics, extracurriculars, and other resources available to you. Whether you're seeking guidance on course selection, career pathways, or campus life, O-Week is the best time to ask any and all questions. Incoming Commerce students can anticipate an engaging orientation week led by our enthusiastic orientation leaders, BOSSES. From the WelCOMMing event featuring speeches and icebreakers to the talent showcase of COMMapalooza, students will forge connections, explore cultural diversity, and learn about resources available at the COMMFair. On 2nd day of Commerce Orientation, we offer a mix of fun activities like breakfast picnics and cheer-offs, while 3rd day brings the excitement of Comm Olympics and culminates in the GodFather Gala. Students will have opportunities to network, learn key Commerce skills, and receive support from BOSSES, fostering a sense of community and readiness for their academic journey at Smith.
