Dr. Allyson M. MacLean is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and an expert in plant science and microbiology, with over twenty years' research experience in this field. She obtained her PhD from McMaster University in 2009, and was a post-doctoral fellow at two of the world's leading plant research institutes (John Innes Center in England, and the Boyce Thompson Institute/Cornell University in America). Her current research focuses on a variety of plant biology/biotech topics, including plant-based vaccine production, plant pathology and a beneficial symbiosis between plants and mycorrhizal fungi. She is a member of the executive committee of the Canadian Association for Plant Biotechnology and has published articles in the world's leading scientific journals.
Dr. Allyson M. MacLean est professeure agrégée à l'Université d'Ottawa et experte en phytologie et en microbiologie, avec plus de vingt ans d'expérience de recherche dans ce domaine. Elle a obtenu son doctorat à l'Université McMaster en 2009 et a été stagiaire post-doctorale dans deux des meilleurs instituts de recherche sur les plantes au monde (le John Innes Center en Angleterre, et Boyce Thompson Institute/Cornell University en Amérique).
