Geneviève Paré, MSc, Research Coordinator
Geneviève received her undergraduate and Master’s degree from Université Laval, in the field of molecular biology. She has extensive research experience studying cardiomyocyte signal transduction, the influence of hypoxia on chemoresistance, and the role of microRNAs in the initiation and progression of cancer. She was also involved in the running of various clinical trials on pain management. Her role as research coordinator at the Queen’s School of Nursing leads her to support faculty members’ research pursuits by identifying funding opportunities, managing the grant submission process and organizing scholarly activities such as the Academic Series and research meetings for the Queen’s Nursing and Health Research. She is also involved in the day-to-day management of a variety of research projects through data management support, hiring and supervision of research assistants, ethics application, grant set up and reporting.
