The University and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 254 reached a tentative agreement to renew their collective agreement early in the morning on November 24, 2021. The tentative collective agreement is subject to ratification by both the university and the bargaining unit.
The university and CUPE Local 254 have been actively engaged in negotiations to renew their collective agreement since June 2021.
