Queen’s University and the Public Service Alliance of Canada and its Local 901, Unit 1 (“PSAC”) representing graduate, JD and MD students employed by the university as Teaching Assistants and graduate students employed as Research Assistants and Teaching Fellows, have successfully ratified a tentative agreement to renew their collective agreement.
The renewed collective agreement has a three-year term and will be in effect until April 30, 2024.
Negotiations began in June 2021 and concluded in February 2022 with the assistance of a Ministry of Labour-appointed conciliator.
The Faculty Relations office will be hosting information sessions regarding the implementation of the renewed collective agreement and details regarding these sessions will be forthcoming.
