Position Description
Conference Desk Representative Provide front-line customer service during summer conference season. Candidates should have experience with customer service, problem solving and organization.
Academic Desk Representative Work during the academic year providing customer service at various residence front desk locations. Candidate must be good at multitasking, customer service, and able to work independently.
Office Administration Assistant  This position will work closely with the RL+S team to support inquiries from incoming students and their families, support the move-in process and assist with communications to incoming students, their families and campus stakeholders.
Move In Assistant Help plan and execute logistics for Residence Move-In Day, including the recruitment and coordination of volunteers. This position requires a high level of skill in project management, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing multiple priorities.
Office Administration Support - Admissions Work closely with the Residence Admissions team to support inquiries and communication with incoming students and their families around the admissions process. This position requires a high level of skill in project management, collaboration, communication and managing multiple priorities.
Residence Program Assistant  Residence Program Assistants (RPAs) help coordinate large scale events in residence that help foster a sense of belonging within the larger residence community.  
Living Learning Community Don In addition to the duties, responsibilities and expectations outlined in the Don job description, an LLC Don will mentor and facilitate additional educational opportunities for their assigned group of students who live within their specific LLC. 
Residence Life Assistant In addition to Don duties, RLAs are responsible for team leadership, scheduling, and event planning, etc.
JRH Peer Ambassador Support prospective and current JRH students in their transition to Queen's, including admissions support, room change conversations, proactive engagement materials, event planning. 
Residence Conduct Board -Member at large Under the supervision of the Manager of Residence Conduct, Members at Large serve as representatives for the broader student community. As a voting member, you hear cases, weigh evidence, and have the ability to uphold, overturn or change findings of responsibility.
Residence Don The live-in Residence Don position is a leadership opportunity for upper year students to support and educate residence students. Dons build meaningful individual and community relationships, contribute to the safety and security of our buildings, and are responsible for the front-line implementation and support of the Residence Life mission and the three Residence learning goals.

Position Description
Building Mechanic Helper The Building Mechanic Helper identifies and retrieves spare parts and tools as requested, be able to lift/support up to 20kg, can use a step ladder, and has experience with basic hand tools. Must also have basic computer skills, be able to count and sort keys, and assist with minor repairs. Basic handyperson experience is desired and further on the job training will be provided.
Casual Caretaker Our caretaking team provides a variety of services: cleaning student residences, conferencing tasks including bed making, cleaning after guests’ stays in a hotel-like environment and event set-ups. WHMIS and on the job training will be provided.
Mover  Casual movers are responsible for moving and disposing of furniture in Residence spaces and requires heavy lifting. Movers are also responsible for cleaning and organizing storage rooms and counting inventory. 
Painter Casual painters are responsible for painting surfaces in addition to covering furnishings, patching, taping, sanding, priming, cleaning and maintaining supplies. 
Summer Gardener supports the exterior appearance of the Residence buildings. Functions include litter/garbage pickup, sweeping pathways, and garden & grounds maintenance. Gardening or yard maintenance experience is desired and further on the job training will be provided.

Support Technician Support Technicians conducts network testing and repairs of ethernet cabling throughout 17 residence buildings, documenting results and identifying any situations that require network team intervention.

Off-Campus Student Support Responsible for supporting and assisting with the educational initiatives and events of the Off-Campus Living Advisor for students living off Campus.

Youth Outreach Chaperone Supervisor The supervisor leads a staff team of chaperones and is responsible for the supervision and safety of all students attending Queen’s Educational Outreach camps (for youth in grades 9-12). outreach programs while in residence outside of academic programming including evening activities, mealtimes and overnight.
Youth Outreach Chaperone The Youth Outreach Chaperone plays an active, live-in role to enrich the experience of participants of the Queen’s Engineering Experience program camps (for grades 9-12) by acting as a mentor and primary contact for student participants after their day of classes ends.
Event Assistant The role of Event Assistant provides valuable support to running events. Shifts vary from administrative, setup, onsite support, and teardown. Event Assistants liaise with a wide range of internal and external clients, including faculty, staff, students, donors, corporate guests, conference planners and high-profile campus guests.
