Rebekah Lawrence is an Assistant Professor in Physical Therapy and Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from St. Ambrose University and subsequently completed an orthopaedic residency. Dr. Lawrence went on to earn her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota, completed post-doctoral research training at Henry Ford Health System, then joined the faculty at Washington University. She leads a multidisciplinary laboratory of researchers, clinicians, and students that aims to develop evidence-based treatment strategies by understanding the mechanisms underlying rotator cuff pathology, symptom manifestation, and functional decline.
