Congratulations to Dr. Jean Hutchinson, on receiving the John B. Stirling Medal from the The Engineering Institute of Canada. Dr. Hutchinson was awarded the medal “for leadership and distinguished service at the national level”.
The award was presented to Dr. Hutchinson during the 2024 EIC Gala event on Saturday, April 20 in Gatineau, Quebec.

This award is presented by the Engineering Society to professors who have been nominated by their students in Smith Engineering . This award is based on the professor’s enthusiasm and interest in the students and their engineering activities.
