Dr. Melissa Lafrenière is looking to hire 2 undergraduate researchers/research assistants for the summer. I am looking for students who are keen to develop skills in both field hydrology and laboratory based water quality analyses. Students should be willing to live and work in cold and remote environments for between 6 to10 weeks of the summer, and in an analytical laboratory here at Queen's for the remainder of a 16 week contract.
These opportunities will be funded through the Queen's Summer Work Experience ( SWEP) program, and or through the NSERC Undergraduate Summer Research Awards (USRA - Summer NSERC Awards) with supplements from research grants for the various projects.
If you are interested in undergraduate research please contact Dr. Melissa Lafrenière to discuss opportunities, your interests and eligibility for the different programs and positions.
