Recently, the provincial government announced it is set to lift masking mandates for most public settings beginning on March 21, 2022.

In order to minimize uncertainty and disruption and to continue to support students, staff, faculty, and university communities, the Council of Ontario Universities (COU) announced today that institutions across the province will maintain their COVID-19 masking and vaccination policies until at least the end of the current term.

Under Queen’s current masking requirements, all faculty, staff, students, and visitors will continue to be required to wear ASTM F2100 Level 2 medical-grade masks while indoors on campus.
