Queen’s University will be closed starting at noon on Wednesday, Dec.  24 through to 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan.  5, 2015. In a continuing effort to conserve energy, all departments are asked to turn off office lights, close windows and doors, and set thermostats no lower than 18 C or 65 F.

The Central Heating Plant will be staffed during the closure. As well, Campus Security and Emergency services will remain fully staffed and operational 24/7 over the holiday period.

For urgent physical plant issues – for example, floods, broken windows or exterior door issues – during the closure, please contact the Emergency Report Centre at 613-533-6080 (613-533-6111, Emergency) for immediate assistance.
