The Vice-Principal Research invites the Queen’s research community to provide feedback on the Strategic Research Plan 2024-2029. The draft document, developed in consultation with the portfolio's executive team, the Associate Deans Research, and the Senate Advisory Research Committee, articulates a vision for the advancement of Queen’s research ambitions in the upcoming years.

A strategic research plan is required in support of applications to various federal research funding programs. The draft document identifies research themes where Queen’s is uniquely positioned for impact and highlights strategic objectives to position Queen’s research to be integral to next-generation discovery and problem-solving.

After the community consultation, the Strategic Research Plan 2024-2029 will be submitted for approval by the Queen’s Senate. The final document, when available, will be publicly posted to the Vice-Principal Research website.

The deadline for feedback submissions is October 25, 2024. A Queen’s NET ID is required to view the draft document.
