The Queen’s community is remembering recent graduate and alumnus Mekhi Hayden Kelly-Peterkin who died on Aug. 16 at the age of 21.

Mekhi will be missed by his extended family and friends and was known as someone you could count on for a warm smile and a laugh.

He had graduated earlier this year with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

He will be fondly remembered by his “family” at Queen’s University and the Royal Military College, where he served as the student trainer for the men’s volleyball team.

Mekhi made a difference in the lives of those who knew him, always sharing his motto “You Matter”.
