The Queen’s community is remembering Marianne Ferris, a former employee in the Vice-Principal Research portfolio and the Department of Surgery, who died on Sept. 13, after a brave battle with ALS. She was 62.

Marianne was the ‘first point of contact’ for many as the Administrative and Finance Assistant in the Vice-Principal Research portfolio during her time there from 2009 to 2021. She then worked as Finance Officer and Finance Coordinator for the Department of Surgery.
