The Queen’s community is remembering David Perreault, a student in the Faculty of Education, who died on Sept. 18 at the age of 41.

Dave had joined the Tech Ed Program at Queen’s with the goal of becoming a trades teacher. He had previously worked as a licensed carpenter at the Algonquin-Lakeshore Catholic District Board of Education for the past seven years.

He was well known for his humour, kindness, and friendship, and had a number of talents and hobbies, including being a musician, magician, and an avid reader

A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee. Mass of Christian Burial and a reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 28.
