The new edition of the Gazette is out and can be found all around Queen’s campuses, as well as a growing number of off-campus locations.
The Oct. 7 edition is headlined with the grand opening of the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts as well as several articles focused on Homecoming 2014, which will be held Oct. 17-19.
There are also items on a string of recent big announcements such as Queen’s landing the Canada Excellence in Research Chair (CERC) for Astrophysics, the appointment of a new director for the Isabel, $900,000 in funding for innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the unveiling of a logo for the university’s upcoming 175th anniversary celebrations.
Add to this regular features such as Human Resources, Books, Calendar of Events and Athletics and Recreation news, and you will have a better grasp of all that is happening here at Queen’s.
The next edition of the bi-weekly Gazette will hit the newsstands on Oct. 21.
