This week, participants in the H'art Centre's H'art School Program had the opportunity to take part in a three-day collaborative project with student instructors from Science Quest, a non-profit run by students through the Queen's Engineering Society.
The Science Quest instructors were on hand to help the patrons with crafts and the construction of props for a play that H'art House is producing in the fall.
This collaboration, a first between H'art and Science Quest, provides a new experience for H’art participants and expands their practical knowledge of mechanics, set design and sculpture. The Science Quest instructors also get the opportunity to gain hands-on leadership practice and experience, before the start of their summer day-camp at the end of June.
