It wasn’t quite The Price is Right, but students could “spin the big wheel” in Mackintosh-Corry Hall on Feb. 10 for a chance to win prizes during “healthy heart week” festivities. Peer health educators with Queen’s University Be Well ran the activity that shared information focused on consent and healthy relationships. The organizers offered students a prize for their participation.
Peer health educators have been working hard since early fall to organize healthy heart week that brings attention to various areas of physical, mental and social health that connect to the heart. The week kicked off Monday with an activity around nutrition and healthy breakfasts. Later in the week there will be an event focused on positive mental health.
Visit the healthy heart week Facebook page for details about all of the events and activities planned during the week.
