The Queen’s University United Way Campaign is seeking volunteers to be department champions.

During last year’s campaign Queen’s donors played a critical role in supporting more than 54,000 individuals in our community by surpassing the committee’s fundraising goal of $475,000.

The department champions, with the support of the committee, play an important role in increasing awareness within their department and/or faculty of the impact of donating to the United Way, as well as for upcoming activities and events.

For those interested, a virtual orientation session is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 21 from noon-1 p.m. An alternate orientation can be arranged for those who cannot attend.

The goal for this year’s campaign, which begins Monday, Oct. 2, is $490,000. Please contribute to the success of the largest workplace campaign for the United Way of KFLA by becoming a champion.  Anyone interested in learning more can contact stacey.wolfrom@queensu.ca.
