Students, staff and faculty participated in the second annual Recycle IT Games on Tuesday, Oct. 1, held as part of Sustainability Week at Queen’s. With events like “cell phone accuracy throw” (pictured left) and “laptop toss” (pictured right), the games provide a fun way to safely recycle unwanted electronics. Last year the games saw nearly 3.5 tonnes of e-waste collected and disposed of safely, a little more than 10 percent of the e-waste that Queen’s recycled that year.
