Flags on campus are lowered in memory of retired staff member Murray Davis.

Mr. Davis began working at Queen's in March 1997 following a work placement as a St. Lawrence College student. He worked in Continuing and Distance Studies throughout his 15 years at Queen's and experienced the changes in store as distance studies transitioned from print-based courses to fully online learning. He adapted to each change in technology with a willingness to learn and to help others. Colleagues remember him as a soft spoken, kind and patient person.

A celebration of Mr. Davis' life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
