Alumni Panel: Cultivating Hope in Times of Grief
Attendees will hear from a panel of Queen’s alumni who engaged in social justice and anti-racism organizing on campus during their time at Queen’s, and who have continued this important work in the world after graduation. Panelists will share about their work at Queen’s and post-graduation, highlighting learnings in avoiding burnout, building solidarity for collective action, the value of radical care in this work, and more. Panel discussion will be followed by a social networking event to inspire new connections and potential future collaborations. This event is scheduled to take place during Student Voices Week as it is meant to connect equity-deserving student doing social justice work on campus but is open to all student, staff and faculty to attend.
