The Centre Unveiling is an event led by the newly formed Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Social Impact (CEISI) at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. It is a weeklong celebration that brings together students, social enterprises, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, industry experts, and the general public to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration around topics of social impact. Queen’s University was recently ranked third place worldwide and first place in North America out of over 1,700 universities by Times Higher Education.

During the week, there will be school and community-sponsored events each day such as career and job fairs, speaker symposiums and panels, startup business showcases, and networking events drawing students and professionals from across the area. The planning and deployment of the activities will reflect a collaboration between Queen’s University, the City of Kingston, local and regional enterprises, and other institutions and non-profits. There will be art and music events each evening at local venues as well to highlight and showcase local and regional talent, culminating in a Fall Music Festival to close out the week.
