Swing Dance
6:45 PM – 10:00 PM
End Consent Week on a joyful note with a swing dance night featuring live music. Swing dance is not only a fun and energetic way to move but also emphasizes the importance of consent. In swing dance, partners ask each other to dance and respect a “no” gracefully. This event, organized by SVPRS and other campus and community partners, with Queen's Swing Dance Club and AMS, is a great way to experience joy and build respectful connections. Visit the Swing Dance Club website to find out more about them https://www.queenssdc.ca/
Doors Open at 6:40pm. We will start the evening with a beginner lesson at 7:00pm. Join us after at 8:00pm for our social dance where you can ask others to dance and practice your new moves.
No experience, partner, or fancy shoes are required - all are welcome! This event is open to all members of the Queen's and Kingston Community.
