SPECIAL PANEL DISCUSSION: The SNC Lavalin Affair: What’s Going On in Ottawa?
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Over the past few weeks a series of events in Ottawa have unfolded that have garnered a huge amount of attention in the media, around dinner tables, in the streets, and abroad.
This is an opportunity to try to unpack some of the legal, public policy, political, governance, and communications issues involved, along with the relationships and roles of the PMO, PCO, and Ministers’ staff with Ministers and the PM. What went wrong? Can it be fixed?
A panel of faculty members will share their perspectives and you will have the opportunity to participate with your thoughts and questions.
PANEL:
Elly Alboim, Adjunct Professor, School of Policy Studies; Principal, Earnscliffe Strategy Group (Ottawa)
Margaret Biggs, Matthews Fellow in Global Public Policy, Queen’s University
