Peer Review and Aropä: A hands-on workshop

Learn about techniques for peer review in and out of the classroom, and then put your learning into practice. This session will start with a brief overview of strategies for incorporating peer review into a course or assignment, and an introduction to the online peer review software Aropä. The majority of the session will allow you to apply both theory and technology to your own assignment or course, with a variety of educational support professionals on hand to coach you through the process.
Outcomes:
After completing this session, participants will be able to:
- apply theories of peer review to their own course or assignment
- incorporate online peer review (Aropä) into their course or assignment design

Participants are asked to bring a laptop and any necessary course or assignment materials. An Aropä account will be created for you.
