Pediatrics Update 2018

Have lunch with Pediatricians to discuss teen axiety, referring for genetics and slowed height velocity. This year's program has got the big issues covered; updates on dermatology and allergies, common orthopedic issues, caring for gender variant children and youth, and testing your knowledge with a marijuana guru.
At the end of this program the participant will be able to better manage the deluge of rapidly changing environmental risks facing their pediatric patients, their patients' families and caregivers. The participant will update their knowledge in dermatology and allergy guidelines and will informally discuss topics from youth anxiety to the more physically-oriented topic of slowed growth velocity.
Credits: This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen's University for up to 3 Mainpro+ credits. This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is approved by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Queen's University. You may claim a maximum of 3 hours.
