May 11, 12, 13, and 14, 2020, 9:00 - 10:30am
The Writing Pedagogy Institute offers you the opportunity to infuse writing into your courses using evidence-based practices for writing pedagogy, or to develop ways of supporting instructors to do the same. Over four interactive webinars, participants will explore topics related to writing instruction and course design, apply strategies to their own course contexts, and hear from faculty and staff involved with writing pedagogy on Queen’s campus. The facilitator will be available for individual follow-up consultations with participants each afternoon.
Do I need to attend all the sessions?
Participants can choose to register for single mornings or the entire four-day institute.
Will I receive documentation that I completed this Institute?
Participants who attend all four webinars will receive a certificate of completion upon request.
What do I need to have with me when I attend the webinar?
In addition to the technology you use to connect to the webinar, you should have access to any necessary course materials as well as pen and paper for writing exercises during the program.
