Data Day 2018: Giving VOICE to your research
8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
The fifth annual Queen's University Data Day will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm in the Douglas Library 1966 Reading Room. The program features presentations and panels on national initiatives and local services for managing, linking and promoting research data. Our keynote speaker is Jeff Moon, Director, Portage Network, who will be providing an overview of Portage. The Portage Network is a national, library-based research data management network that coalesces initiatives in research data management to build capacity and to coordinate activities. Full program details and registration will be available soon. A light lunch will be provided.
Data Day is of particular interest to faculty, staff, researchers, students, and community members who are doing research. All are welcome to join the conversation!
