17 Rooms at Queen's
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The 17 Rooms event at Queen's is a fast-paced, brainstorming workshop and approach to generating awareness of and action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Queen's vision is to solve the world's most significant and urgent challenges, and adopting the framework and context of the SDGs across the university is one of the ways we can make that happen. It is a new experience organized by the Office of the Vice-Principal (International) and the Principal's Office.
Our goal for our first event is to generate excitement and awareness of the SDGs at Queen's, increase collaboration and ultimately find new ways to make a global impact. It's exciting, energizing and will help create a movement of SDG champions throughout the Queen's community.
We aim to have a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of engaged, creative and ambitious people who don't mind thinking big. If the room you are interested in joining is full, you will be assigned to another room or placed on a waiting list.
Registration will close on Thursday, June 10th. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
