Biography
I come to Queen's from a background in philosophy, having completed both a BAH an MA in philosophy, with my MA exploring Wittgenstein's religious thought through the Advaita Vedanta tradition in Hinduism.
Research Interests
My research interests are at the intersection of philosophy/literature. In particular, I'm interested in how aspects of language, existentialism, and religion are portrayed in fiction. I approach these primarily through Wittgenstein, rhetorical theory, and discourse analysis, but also from a pragmatic basis, with an eye to how various kinds of behaviours are expressions of natural human tendencies.
