Safka MIR Alumni Speaker Series with guest speaker Ben Caswill

Ben Caswill is the Employee Relations Manager at Orla Mining, an emerging gold producer based in Vancouver. Passionate about HR and Labour Relations, Ben’s areas of expertise are improving employee experiences through engagement and retention initiatives, as well as guiding companies through complex HR matters such as performance management, discipline and termination, accommodations, and legal compliance across North and South America. Prior to joining Orla, Ben served as the HR Manager for Canada and South America at Bradken, and an HR and Employee Services Advisor at Imperial Oil. He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce in HR/Labour Relations in 2017, and went on to complete his Master of Industrial Relations at Queen’s University in 2018.
