On April 27, 2019, during the Ban Righ Foundation for Continuing Education, 2019 Spring Celebration, Queen's Professional MIR student Omolara Babajide was the recipient of the Troup-Ballantyne Award.
This award was established by Mary Ballantyne in honour of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Troup, and in support of female students returning to University education. The award was created in support of female students returning to university education, and is awarded to a student on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
