The Ed Tech Toolkit is designed to support educators and educational support staff in selecting, comparing, and finding information related to various ed tech tools in use at Queen’s. Tools included in this Ed Tech Toolkit have been reviewed by educational support staff across different faculties, disciplines, and skillsets to provide sound pedagogical guidance, practical implementation and support advice, and the most up-to-date information on licensing, privacy, security, and accessibility considerations.
Reviewers consist of educational support staff in roles related to instructional design, educational technology, multimedia design, learning management systems, IT, cybersecurity, copyright, accessibility, and more! By bringing all these incredibly diverse skillsets together to examine each tool, the Ed Tech Toolkit Working Group prioritizes ed tech tool review requests, organizes reviewers, maintains the list of ed tech tools, and curates the publishing of this site.
