The Canadian Opinion Research Archive (CORA) is involved in promoting and sponsoring events that encourage advancements in the study of public opinion, both substantively and methodologically. This includes conferences, workshops, and public lectures. CORA is particularly active in opportunities that can advance or support students working on public opinion and survey methodology. Training and mentoring ensures a robust public opinion and survey research community over the long term.
