Teaching Assistant Postings 


For the Fall & Winter terms, the Department of Classics & Archaeology may require TA Positions for the course/s listed below (conditional upon enrollment figures and budgetary approval).

Applications will be received until Friday, August 15th, 2025.

Fall: 

  • CLST 203 - Myth & Religion
  • CLST 204 - Scientific and Medical Terminology

Winter: 

  • CLST 131 - Introduction to Archaeology: Methods and Analysis
  • CLST 210 - Animals in the Ancient Classical Past

Duties may include:

  • Attending class
  • General duties to assist the professor
  • Preparation of tests/exams
  • Marking
  • Meeting with and/or responding to (email) student queries.
  • Facilitating discussion groups
  • Leading tutorials
  • onQ development
