Thanks to a $100 million CAD donation from Stephen Smith, a Queen’s Engineering alumnus (Sc’72, LLD’17), the Smith Engineering program at Queen's will become a premier choice for students addressing global challenges. This innovative approach will be rigorous, hands-on, and socially aware, equipping graduates with the skills to develop technology while understanding its societal impact.
Queen’s has a very tight community compared to other universities, especially in engineering. You are part of a big community that’s always there to support you. I started with the mentorship program as a mentee. I experienced firsthand the support and wanted to do the same for first years.
