An S-PLUS Package for Semiparametric Analysis of Survival Data with a Possible Cured Fraction

This S-PLUS package implements the algorithm described in the article "Peng, Y. (2003), Fitting semiparametric cure models, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis 41:481--490". DOWNLOAD THE PACKAGE

The package semicure.zip (ZIP, 12KB) can be installed by following the instructions in INSTALL file in the package.

FUNCTIONS IN THE PACKAGE

• semicure: fit a semiparametric cure model
• semicure.object: a fitted semiparametric cure model object
• coef.semicure: retrieve the estimated coefficients from a semicure object
• print.semicure: print a semicure object
• summary.semicure: print summary information of a semicure object
• predict.semicure: predictions from a fitted semicure object
