Short Bio
Welcome to my website. I have been a Professor at Queen's University in Kingston Ontario Canada for many years.
My academic interests include general relativity (Einstein's theory of gravity), relativistic astrophysics (the application of our best understanding of classical physical theory to processes in the real Universe), and computer algebra (the ability to do advanced mathematics on computers).
Recent formal research topics have included studies of the propagation of discontinuities in solutions to Einstein's equations (the formation of structure in the universe) and the formation of naked singularities in gravitational collapse (a refinement of our notion that true singularities are unobservable).
