  • To contribute to a world in which every person with disabilities can have access to effective AAC systems and assistive technology.
  • To design and promote interventions that enable meaningful participation and well-being of children and young people with disabilities and their families.
  • To build capacity within communities to support inclusion of people with disabilities, especially those with speech, communication, and motor impairments.

Meet Dr. Beata Batorowicz

"Uncovering competencies and achievements of children and youth with disabilities, rather than only focusing on their deficits is essential. Augmentative and alternative communication and technology offer opportunities to tap into children’s capacity and engage them in meaningful childhood activities."
