About the Office of the VP (Research) at Queen's

The Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) (OVPR) was established as separate from the School of Graduate Studies in 1995. The direction of the Office has been informed by strategic planning exercises. In 2006, through portfolio development exercises, the overall mission was modified to better reflect all facets of the VPR portfolio. The new mission statement was affirmed by senior leadership and staff session on mission, vision and values.
