The certifications module consists of Biohazard, General Ethics, Health Sciences Ethics and Animal Care and Radiation. The General Ethics and Health Sciences ethics portions were implemented in 2010. The Biohazard implementation is progressing well, with presentations to the Biohazard Committee and Director EHS in January. The applications, event forms and amendment forms are being constructed and will be presented to the Biohazard Committee at their March meeting. The animal care and radiation certifications are being managed separately by their respective units.
The implementation of Awards is in progress. Analysis of data and workflow processes for ORS, eQUIP and researchers is complete. UAT has begun. 6988 funding approved files will be migrated into test environment in February for test & review. Configuration of groups, users, forms and templates follows; then training and manual data entry of remaining 4,459 files. The anticipated date of completion is June 1, 2013.
Responses to the RFP were received January 17, 2013 and scored by the evaluation committee. Vendor demonstrations occurred on Feb 13th – 14th, 2013 and reference checks completed Feb 26. Selection of a vendor will follow.
This module will take place in a later phase of TRAQ, likely in 2014.
