Since 1970, our rigorous and well-focused two-year Master of Planning (M.PL.) program allows our students to develop the knowledge and skills they require to become leaders in the planning field and to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving urban environment.
The School is housed in the Robert Sutherland Hall. Offices and classrooms are located on the fifth floor. The whole building is climate-controlled. In addition, the School has one seminar-policy workroom, one design studio room, and one CAD/mapping room, as well as offices for the National Executive Forum on Public Property, China Projects and Executive Seminar on Corporate and Investment Real Estate.
Every full-time graduate student is given office space, which includes desk, storage space and internet access, for continuous use throughout their program of study at SURP. Many students make extensive use of their offices. They are located on the fifth floor of the Robert Sutherland Hall. The offices are a main area of interaction among students – many of whom work in their offices until the late into the night. In fact, one can easily note that the student offices are at the centre of student life at SURP.
