Our programs and services help prepare students to achieve not only their personal, social, and academic goals, but also their professional and community aspirations.
First-Year Foundation
Our First-Year Foundation program starts this summer and gives you online and in-person opportunities to build your community, support your transition, and find your path to success for your first year at Queen’s.
Upper-Year Undergrad
Designed specifically for upper-year undergraduate students, Upper-Year Undergrad brings together resources and tools to help you successfully transition from first to second year and beyond.
Leadership and Development
The Student Experience Office offers a number of programs and initiatives to help build and grow your leadership skills, EDII knowledge, and allyship awareness and skills, as well as engage in meaningful mentorship relationships.
The Faceless Dolls artwork was created by Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, staff, and faculty at Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre. The project aims to increase awareness of the ongoing issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Two-Spirit folks (MMIW) in Canada. There are four pieces of artwork that make up the Faceless Dolls installation, and the Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre has gifted the Student Experience with two of the pieces to host in the next two years. Engage in learning about the Faceless Dolls Project and how they represent the ongoing epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) Peoples on Turtle Island;
Explore how one’s own identities and lived experiences intersect with the ongoing impact colonization has on Indigenous communities and reflect on what role one can play in reconciliation;
Empower each other to continue to learn and grow in allyship and stand in solidarity.
We are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships that lead to the courage to challenge each other on campus and in our communities.
