Queen's University

Schulich Leader Scholarships

Schulich Leader Scholarships were created by Canadian business leader and philanthropist Seymour Schulich. The program is managed and administered by the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. Queen’s is one of 20 participating universities.  The program recognizes students across Canada who are planning to study science, technology, engineering, or math.

Total Value = $60,000

Program of Study Bachelor of Science (Honors), Bachelor of Computing (Honours), Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Financial need (Note:  Schulich Leader nominees applying to Queen's must submit a Queen's Admission Bursary to enable Queen's to assess their financial need prior to February 15, 2015)
  • Academic excellence
  • Outstanding community, business or entrepreneurial leadership
High School Grades Variable
Duration Renewable for 3 subsequent years (4 years total) provided the student meets the renewal conditions as per their award offer letter.

High Schools are permitted to nominate 1 (one) Schulich Leader nominee.  Nominations must be submitted to the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto by February 2, 2015.  Schulich Leader nominees will then have until February 23, 2015 to submit their application to UJA.
